Route details

Our 50km route will commence from the Shuttleworth Estate and will initially follow a cross country route on private trails within the grounds.

Leaving the estate the route heads west and joins the Greensand Ridge Walk taking you through Warden Great Wood and to the first checkpoint (~13km) in Haynes.

Continuing anti-clockwise along the looped route you pass through Clophill and Chicksands and then along to Shefford where the second checkpoint is situated(~28km).

After Shefford and a short stint along the River Ivel you pass up through Broom (CP3 36.5km) and along to Jordan's Mill.

To complete the circle the route turns towards Old Warden and through some magnificent woodland to re-enter the estate, past Shuttleworth House and through the finish arch.

The total distance is 50km with around 440 metres of elevation change.
